Inhibition of P2RX7 Protects Against Light-Induced Retinal Degeneration by Suppressing cGAS-STING Signaling I


ABSTRACT: Using comprehensive transcriptomic data, this approach objectively and quantitatively links observable pathological phenomena (light damage, cell death) with underlying molecular mechanisms (activation of DNA damage pathways and innate immune pathways). Thereby, it uncovers the intrinsic logic of disease development and progression, providing the most direct molecular basis for identifying therapeutic targets (such as the STING protein).
