Analysis of whole-genome chromosomal alterations in primary cutaneous melanoma

Project description:In this experiment, FFPE samples of 41 primary cutaneous melanoma, 2 metastatic melanoma and 6 normal skin were used for DNA extraction and genotyping by Affymetrix OncoScan FFPE Assay, in order to define chromosomal alterations in copy number and loss of heterozygosity. Genomic damage was then correlated with clinical features of melanoma.

Spatial transcriptomics of Cutaneous and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus skin

Project description:We performed spatial transcriptomics on a case series of different clinical subtypes of cutaneous lupus erythematosus including acute cutaneous lupus erythematosus (malar rash, systemic lupus erythematosus). Our goals were to (1) determine which differentially expressed genes (DEGs) could be attributed to specific cell populations in specific locations within the tissue, (2) determine if spatial transcriptomics could better distinguish between CLE clinical subtypes than bulk RNA approaches and (3) examine potential cell-cell communication pathways within the skin lesions.

Spatial transcriptomics of skin biopsies from patients with cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL)

Project description:CTCLs are a group of non-Hodgkin lymphomas, with non-aggressive forms (Mycosis fungoides (MF)) initially presenting with features of cutaneous eczema or psoriasis, posing a challenge for clinical and histological diagnosis. Using spatial transcriptomics, we hope to delineate the molecular signatures of CTCL to provide novel avenues for diagnostics and therapies.
