The role of RNA-helicase MOV10 in the regulation of transcript levels during the development of mouse brain.

ABSTRACT: It has previously been shown that MOV10 exhibits a distinct developmental expression pattern, with protein levels being very high in the brains of neonatal mice and almost completely absent in adult brains. To investigate the role of MOV10 in brain development, we generated a mouse model called Mov10 Deletion by crossing a Mov10 conditional knockout line with Emx1-Cre and a Mov10 heterozygous mutant. In this study, we performed bulk RNA sequencing on whole brain tissue collected from wild-type (WT) and Mov10 Deletion mice at postnatal days 0, 7, 14, and 23. The RNA extraction, library preparation, and sequencing was performed by Biostate.ai.
