Transcriptome data of larval zebrafish exposed to continuous sub- and supra-MCL sodium arsenite and depleted uranium
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Depleted uranium (DU) and arsenic (As) are both ubiquitous contaminants in the American southwest, posing risks to indigenous tribes, wildlife, and the environment. DU’s chronic effects and mechanisms of toxicity are poorly elucidated. Concomitant mixture exposure studies with geographically relevant environmental contaminants including both DU and As are also not available. Continuous low-dose (UL, AsL), high-dose (UH, AsH), and concomitant (AsU) exposures are investigated using the larval zebrafish (Danio rerio), with exposure paradigms lasting from embryo collection at 2-3 hours post fertilization until harvest at 5 days post fertilization. Herein, we describe differential gene expression analyses including gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment statistics.
