Kidney from two patients with collecting duct carcinoma
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Collecting duct carcinoma (CDC) is a rare and aggressive renal malignancy with limited therapeutic options. In this study, long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) expression profiles were analyzed in two CDC cases with differential responses to immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy. Case 1 showed a clinical response to ICI treatment, whereas Case 2 was refractory. Tumor and matched normal FFPE kidney tissues were subjected to lncRNA expression profiling using the Arraystar Human LncRNA Microarray v5.0 platform to explore potential molecular differences associated with ICI response.
