ABSTRACT: Chloroplast phosphate translocators coordinate carbon allocation between the cytosol and plastid during heterotrophic growth. Here, RNA-seq was performed to characterize transcriptome reprogramming in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii following transfer from low light to extended darkness, comparing wild type (CC-4532 background) and an independent CreTPT10 knockout mutant (tpt10b).
