Transcriptional programs associated with migratory capacity and 5-ALA–induced PpIX fluorescence in glioblastoma

ABSTRACT: Glioblastoma (GBM) cells were fractionated by a two-dimensional Transwell migration assay (no extracellular matrix coating) into migratory and non-migratory populations, followed by subdivision based on 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA)–induced protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) fluorescence (high vs low). Gene expression profiling was performed using Agilent one-color microarrays. One biological sample per condition was analyzed (no biological replicates).
