EGF-induced EMT in MDA-MB-468 breast cancer cell line
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition (EMT) is an early metastatic process found to promote disease progression and poor prognosis in cancer. Here, EMT was induced in the breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-468 using epidermal growth factor (EGF). Gene expression data was used to determine effects on metabolic pathways, as well as to assess the degree of EMT induction.
