ABSTRACT: Two diagnostic liver biopsy specimens from pediatric patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis were profiled by single-cell spatial transcriptomics using the VizGen MERSCOPE platform with a custom 400-gene liver immunology panel. The material consisted of freshly cut, unstained sections from archived FFPE needle biopsies mounted on VizGen-provided slides for hybridization according to the manufacturer’s protocol. Both specimens contained focal periductal and bridging fibrosis.
