Transcriptomic profiling of ALIX knockout mesenchymal stem cells from subcutaneous white adipose tissues in mice under high-fat diet feeding

ABSTRACT: Cells throughout the body release small extracellular vesicles (sEVs), including exosomes, which function as modulators of metabolism. In this study, we performed RNA sequencing of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from subcutaneous white adipose tissue isolated from control and Pα-ALIXKO mice, in which ALIX, a key regulator of sEV biogenesis, was selectively deleted in PDGFRα⁺ tissue-resident mesenchymal progenitors. Mice were subjected to high-fat diet feeding. This dataset enables the analysis of transcriptomic changes in MSCs derived from control and Pα-ALIXKO mice.
