RNA sequencing of prostate tumors from control and exercise groups in a prostate-specific Pten knockout mouse model
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Epidemiological studies suggest that physical activity is associated with favorable prostate cancer outcomes, but the underlying molecular mechanisms remain unclear. To investigate transcriptomic changes associated with exercise, we performed bulk RNA sequencing of prostate tumor tissues collected from prostate-specific Pten knockout mice assigned to control or voluntary wheel running conditions. These data may help clarify the molecular basis of exercise-mediated tumor suppression in prostate cancer.
