Transcriptome Analysis of Palmitic Acid-treated Human Primary Hair Follicle Stem Cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The effect of palmitic acid (PA) on human primary hair follicle stem cells (HFSCs) remains unclear. In this study, HFSCs were treated with PA or vehicle control, and transcriptome sequencing was performed to investigate the molecular alterations. Our results indicate that PA treatment activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) and other related signaling pathways. This dataset provides a comprehensive transcriptional profile of PA-treated HFSCs, offering insights into the potential regulatory mechanisms of PA in hair follicle biology and serving as a resource for further studies on lipid metabolism and stem cell function.
