Total RNA-seq of aposymbiotic and symbiotic Hydra viridissima

ABSTRACT: Total RNA sequencing of aposymbiotic (algae-free) and green/symbiotic Hydra viridissima clone 2 to characterize gene expression differences between symbiotic states. Paired-end reads were trimmed with fastp, aligned to Carnegie v1 (JBWVZK000000000) with STAR, and quantified with featureCounts using BRAKER3 gene annotations.
