Single-cell transcriptomic analysis of lipoprotein transport in yolk sac membrane endodermal epithelial cells of chicken embryos


ABSTRACT: This study investigates the transcriptional landscape of yolk sac membrane (YSM) endodermal epithelial cells in chicken embryos using single-cell RNA sequencing. The yolk sac membrane plays a critical role in nutrient absorption and transport, particularly in lipoprotein metabolism during early embryonic development. Single-cell RNA sequencing was performed on YSM samples collected at embryonic day 4 (E4) and embryonic day 7 (E7). After quality control filtering, high-quality cells were retained for downstream analysis. Clustering analysis identified distinct cellular populations, and gene expression profiles were analyzed to characterize functional differences across developmental stages. The processed data include filtered gene expression matrices, cell barcode annotations, gene feature annotations, and cell-level metadata including clustering assignments. Raw sequencing data are available in the Sequence Read Archive (SRA).
