CSF2 knockdown alters gene expression profiles in BCPAP papillary thyroid carcinoma cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study investigates the transcriptomic changes in BCPAP papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) cells following CSF2 knockdown using Affymetrix PrimeView Human Gene Expression Array. CSF2 knockdown was achieved via shRNA, with non-targeting shRNA as control. Three biological replicates per group were analyzed. Results show that CSF2 regulates genes involved in cell proliferation, invasion, and metastasis, particularly through the STAT3-CXCL5-WNT/beta-catenin axis. Our findings provide insights into CSF2 as a potential therapeutic target in PTC progression.
