TPX2 drives cell cycle progression and impairs immune cell communication in lung cancer based on multi-omics evidence

ABSTRACT: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Despite significant advancements in diagnosis and treatment, its mortality rate persists at alarmingly high levels. TPX2, a critical cell cycle regulatory protein, has been reported to exhibit aberrant expression in various malignancies, yet its specific mechanistic role in lung cancer remains poorly understood. To elucidate the mechanism of TPX2-driven lung cancer and identify its downstream transcriptional targets, we conducted genome-wide RNA sequencing in A549 cells knockdowning TPX2, with comparison to negative control (sh-NC) group.
