Gene expression during overexpression of ArPHR2/4 in Anoectochilus roxburghii Leaves
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: ArPHR2/4 acts as the core transcription factors in response to phosphorus starvation. They regulate the responsive signaling pathways, especially the phosphorus signaling cascade, thereby modulating the metabolic activities of downstream phosphate transporters. Overexpression of ArPHR2/4 in Anoectochilus roxburghii leaves markedly enhances the transcriptional activation of phosphorus-responsive genes. This finding provides valuable insights for exploring the phosphorus signaling pathway and associated metabolic processes.
