Transcriptomic analysis of NvfoxE-like knockdown in Nematostella vectensis

ABSTRACT: To investigate the role of NvfoxE-like in cnidocyte gene regulatory networks, bulk mRNA sequencing was performed on gastrula-stage Nematostella vectensis embryos (28 hours post fertilization at 24°C) following RNAi-mediated NvfoxE-like knockdown. Four paired experimental (NvfoxE-like shRNA) and scramble RNA control replicates were sequenced. Each replicate consisted of approximately 1000 injected embryos.
