Transcriptomic analysis of Nvznf845 knockdown in Nematostella vectensis

ABSTRACT: To investigate the role of Nvznf845 in cnidocyte gene regulatory networks, bulk mRNA sequencing was performed on gastrula-stage Nematostella vectensis embryos (28 hours post fertilization at 24°C) following RNAi-mediated Nvznf845 knockdown. Four paired experimental (Nvznf845 shRNA) and scramble RNA control replicates were sequenced. Each replicate consisted of approximately 1000 injected embryos.
