HLMR1, a hepatocyte-specific long noncoding RNA that represses amino acid catabolism through pre-mRNA interaction in human liver [ChIRP-seq]
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying hLMR1-mediated gene regulation, Chromatin Isolation by RNA Purification followed by RNA sequencing (ChIRP-RNA-seq) was performed using human liver tissues. Endogenous hLMR1-associated RNA molecules were isolated using biotinylated antisense oligonucleotide probes targeting hLMR1 and subsequently characterized by high-throughput sequencing. This approach was used to identify RNA transcripts physically associated with hLMR1 and to gain insight into the molecular pathways regulated by this human liver-enriched long non-coding RNA.
