ABSTRACT: We applied an in vitro transcription–reverse transcription (ivTRT)-based ssDNA-SELEX workflow to profile the DNA-binding specificities of putative nucleic acid–binding proteins (NBPs) from ssDNA viruses. Translocated in liposarcoma/fused in sarcoma (TLS/FUS), a protein with well-established ssDNA-binding activity, was included as a positive control.
