Transient activation of ciliary CCR2 signaling promotes the initiation of adipogenesis
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Primary cilia serve as sensory hubs that integrate extracellular cues to regulate adipogenesis. To investigate the underlying transcriptional programs during adipogenic commitment, we performed RNA-seq profiling of primary mouse adipocyte precursors (Lin-CD34+CD29+Sca1+) at distinct stages of adipogenic differentiation. This dataset reveals the dynamic expression of cilia-related genes and uncovers the transient activation of the ERK signaling pathway, providing mechanistic insights into cilium-dependent adipogenic initiation.
