Transcriptomic profiling of KLC1 knockdown in KKU-213A cholangiocarcinoma cells

ABSTRACT: Kinesin light chain 1 (KLC1) is a component of the kinesin-1 motor complex that mediates intracellular cargo transport and has been implicated in cancer progression. However, its molecular role in cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) remains poorly understood. To investigate the transcriptomic alterations associated with KLC1 depletion, RNA sequencing was performed using KKU-213A human cholangiocarcinoma cells following siRNA-mediated knockdown of KLC1. Differential gene expression analysis was conducted to identify genes regulated by KLC1. Functional enrichment analyses, including Gene Ontology (GO), Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG), and protein–protein interaction (PPI) network analyses, were subsequently performed to characterize the biological processes and signaling pathways associated with KLC1 knockdown. This dataset provides a comprehensive transcriptomic resource for investigating the molecular mechanisms regulated by KLC1 in cholangiocarcinoma.
