Ginsenoside Rg3 Mitigates Neurodegeneration by Enhancing Lysosomal Function through the mTOR–TFEB Axis
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: RNA sequencing was performed to investigate the transcriptomic responses of day 5 adult Caenorhabditis elegans to ginsenoside Rg3 treatment. Age-synchronized N2 worms were treated with 5 μg/mL ginsenoside Rg3 or vehicle control, and whole-worm RNA was subjected to high-throughput sequencing. Differential gene expression and pathway enrichment analyses were conducted to identify biological processes and signaling pathways associated with the effects of Rg3 on aging and neuronal homeostasis. This dataset provides a transcriptomic resource for investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying the geroprotective and neuroprotective activities of ginsenoside Rg3.
