Genome-wide identification of Flo8-binding regions by ChIP-seq.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Flo8 is a transcription factor involved in the regulation of multiple cellular processes in Candida glabrata. To characterize its genome-wide DNA-binding profile, chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by sequencing (ChIP-seq) was performed using a strain expressing 3×HA-tagged Flo8, with an untagged Flo8 strain serving as the negative control. Sequencing reads were aligned to the C. glabrata reference genome, and Flo8-enriched regions were identified by comparison with the corresponding input and control samples. The resulting dataset provides a genome-wide map of Flo8-binding sites and facilitates the identification of potential target genes and regulatory pathways associated with metabolism, stress adaptation, and iron homeostasis.
