Transcriptomic analysis of FTO knockdown in MG63 osteosarcoma cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Fat mass and obesity-associated protein (FTO), a key N6-methyladenosine (m6A) demethylase, plays critical roles in tumor progression and chemotherapy resistance. However, the downstream transcriptional networks regulated by FTO in osteosarcoma remain incompletely understood. To investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying FTO-mediated osteosarcoma progression and cisplatin sensitivity, we performed transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) on MG63 osteosarcoma cells following FTO knockdown. This dataset provides a comprehensive view of the gene expression changes induced by FTO depletion, which may help identify key downstream targets and pathways involved in osteosarcoma pathogenesis and chemoresistance.
