Molecular phenotyping and promoter-specific regulation of gene expression in aging human skeletal muscle with CAGE-Seq


ABSTRACT: In this study, we applied cap analysis of gene expression (CAGE-Seq) to biopsy samples of the vastus lateralis muscle and quantitatively profiled the activity of thousands of transcribed regulatory elements. The collection of samples was previously described and partially profiled with RNA-Seq (https://doi.org/10.1111/acel.14098 and https://doi.org/10.1134/S0006297924020093).
