Adolescent social isolation alters the single-nucleus transcriptomic landscape of the mouse medial prefrontal cortex
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study examined cell-type-specific transcriptional alterations in the medial prefrontal cortex of male mice subjected to adolescent social isolation. Single-nucleus RNA sequencing was used to characterize molecular changes across neuronal and non-neuronal populations, with particular emphasis on parvalbumin interneurons and autophagy-related pathways.
