Nano-TiO2 alleviates microplastic stress in strawberry: An integrated analysis of physiological, root transcriptomic, and rhizosphere microbial community responses


ABSTRACT: Plastic film is a widely used material in facility agricultural production, and microplastics derived from its long-term residue and degradation can exert adverse effects on crop growth and development. Nano-titania (Nano-TiO2), as a novel nano-fertilizer, shows promising regulatory potential in alleviating microplastic phytotoxicity and improving crop stress tolerance.
