CFAP298 governs dynein arm protein homeostasis to ensure motile cilia function


ABSTRACT: This project investigates the role of CFAP298 in the regulation of motile cilia function, with a particular focus on dynein arm protein homeostasis. We examine how CFAP298 contributes to the proper maintenance, assembly, and stability of dynein arm components required for effective ciliary motility. Through molecular, cellular, and transcriptomic analyses, this study aims to elucidate the mechanisms by which CFAP298 deficiency disrupts dynein arm protein homeostasis and impairs motile cilia function.
