Study on the role and mechanism of AKR1B10 in atopic dermatitis

ABSTRACT: Atopic dermatitis is a severe skin disorder. As the core components of the skin barrier, epithelial cells play a critical role in preserving skin barrier function. The function of AKR1B10 in epithelial cells remains poorly defined. In this dataset, Human Adult low Calcium high Temperature Keratinocytes (HaCat) were used to mimic the pathological microenvironment of atopic dermatitis (AD) in vitro, and mRNA‑sequencing was performed on AKR1B10‑overexpressing (oe) and empty‑vector (ev) control samples.
