Cxcr2 deficiency reshapes the bone marrow transcriptome and is associated with impaired bone homeostasis in adult male mice
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: C-X-C chemokine receptor 2 (CXCR2) contributes to leukocyte trafficking and inflammatory signaling. To investigate its role in skeletal homeostasis, we profiled the femoral bone marrow transcriptome of adult male Cxcr2-null mice and wild-type littermate controls. The RNA-seq dataset forms the bone marrow component of a multi-tissue study that also profiled articular cartilage and subchondral bone by microarray.
