Transcriptomic profiling of RAW 264.7 macrophages following atractylodin treatment
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Atractylodin (ATR) is a natural polyacetylene compound with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. To explore the molecular mechanisms underlying the biological effects of ATR, bulk RNA sequencing was performed in RAW 264.7 macrophage-like cells treated with ATR or vehicle control. Differential gene expression and pathway enrichment analyses were used to characterize ATR-responsive transcriptional changes and identify candidate biological processes potentially involved in its effects. The transcriptomic analysis revealed alterations in several pathways, including pathways related to cellular redox regulation and glutathione metabolism, providing clues for subsequent mechanistic investigations.
