Root transcriptomes of rice OsPSY8 overexpression and knockout lines following polyethylene glycol-induced osmotic stress
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To examine the role of OsPSY8 in rice root transcriptional responses to osmotic stress, RNA sequencing was performed on roots of wild-type Kitaake, the OsPSY8 overexpression line OX2, and the ospsy8 knockout line KO1. Roots were sampled before and 4 h after polyethylene glycol (PEG) treatment. Each of the six genotype-by-time combinations was represented by three biological replicates. Gene-level counts and counts per million (CPM) are provided for all 18 samples.
