Temporal transcriptomic profiling of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and control primary mixed lung cultures

ABSTRACT: Bulk RNA sequencing was performed to characterize temporal changes in gene expression in primary mixed lung cell cultures derived from patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and control donors. Freshly isolated cells and samples collected during culture were profiled to assess disease-associated differences and culture-dependent changes in transcriptional profiles.
