Effect of QPRT overexpression on genome-wide H3K18 lactylation (H3K18la) profile in cancer pericytes (CPCs)
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Cancer pericytes (CPCs) facilitate tumor cell intravasation and distant metastasis, yet whether they drive these processes through immune mimicry programs and epigenetic reprogramming remains poorly defined. QPRT-driven metabolic reprogramming endows CPCs with immune-responsive traits and triggers extracellular trap (ET) formation to promote metastatic progression, but the underlying epigenetic basis remains unclear. Here, we performed ChIP-seq to map the genome-wide landscape of histone H3 lysine 18 lactylation (H3K18la) in control (CPCVector) and QPRT-overexpressing (CPCQPRT) CPCs. Our data reveal that QPRT remodels H3K18la modification at immune-related gene loci, which mediates the acquisition of immune-mimetic features and ET production in CPCs. This dataset provides an epigenetic framework for understanding QPRT-mediated pro-metastatic pericyte reprogramming.
