ABSTRACT: The Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia (CCLE) project is a collaboration between the Broad Institute, the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research and the Genomics Novartis Foundation to conduct a detailed genetic and pharmacologic characterization of a large panel of human cancer models It consists of a compilation of gene expression, chromosomal copy number, and massively parallel sequencing data from nearly 1,000 human cancer cell lines. All raw and processed data are available through an integrated portal on www.broadinstitute.org/ccle

Project description:RNA-seq of 1019 human cancer cell lines from the Broad-Novartis Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia (http://www.broadinstitute.org/ccle). The original annotation of each cell line to a disease has been checked and manually curated by Expression Atlas (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/gxa/home). Note the original version of the dataset contained 934 cell lines. In the latest update, 2 cell lines were removed (presumed duplicates) and 87 added new.

Quantitative Proteomics of the Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia

Project description:The Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia (CCLE) is a collaborative effort to generate steady-state large-scale profiling across a collection of nearly a thousand cancer cell lines. Multiple generations of this effort have resulted in a collection of many data types such as RNA expression, mutation annotation, and drug sensitivity data. Included here are whole proteome profiles for 375 cell lines in this collection collected using TMT 10-plex reagent and SPS-MS3 acquisition. They include cell lines from many tissue lineages with various underlying oncogenic mutations. The fully normalized data downstream of these raw files as well as the many other datasets in the CCLE are availble at https://depmap.org/portal/.
