CRC cells_Aspirin treatment_48 hours_Rep8

ABSTRACT: To identify the lncRNA profiles of colorectal carcinoma cells treated with aspirin, we performed microarray analysis using primary cultured cancer cells obtained from 8 clinical CRC tissues. After the CRC cells were treated with aspirin for 48 hours, 28 lncRNAs were statistically up-regulated more than 2-fold.

Project description:To identify the lncRNA profiles of colorectal carcinoma cells treated with aspirin, we performed microarray analysis using primary cultured cancer cells obtained from 8 clinical CRC tissues. After the CRC cells were treated with aspirin for 48 hours, 28 lncRNAs were statistically up-regulated more than 2-fold. We treated the primary cultured cancer cells obtained from 8 clinical CRC tissues with DMSO (negative control group_Rep8) and aspirin (Experiment group_Rep8).

Project description:To further study the mechnisms behind CRC metastasis, we employed microarray expression profiling as a discovery platform to identify differential expressed lncRNAs and mRNAs in non-metastastic and metastastic CRC tissues. Eight non-metastic CRC tissues and eight metastatic CRC tissues are collected and total RNA were extracted and purified. Differential lncRNA and mRNA expression profiles of non-metastatic and metastatic CRC tissues were obtained.

Genome-wide analysis of long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) expression in colorectal cancer tissues from patients with liver metastasis

Project description:We performed a genome-wide analysis of lncRNA expression to identify novel targets for the further study of liver metastasis in CRC. Samples obtained from CRC patients were analyzed using Arraystar human 8Ã?60K lncRNA/mRNA v3.0 microarrays chips to find differentially expressed lncRNAs and mRNAs; The results were confirmed by quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). The differentially expressed lncRNAs and mRNAs were identified through fold-change filtering. Gene ontology (GO) and pathway analyses were performed using standard enrichment computational methods. Twelve primary CRC samples were obtained from six patients with CRC and liver metastasis (Exp G) and six patients with CRC without metastasis (Ctrl G).
