Genome-wide expression study of macrophage subsets in mouse skin distinguished by differential CX3CR1 expression

ABSTRACT: Dermal murine macrophages can be subdivided into three subpopulations based on their CX3CR1 expression pattern which differ in longevity, replenishment and localization. The aim of this expression profiling was to identify additional genes which differ in expression between these populations and find potential functional markers.
