ABSTRACT: Comparative gene expression profiling of motor neurons innervating the extensor digitorum longus (disease-resistant), gastrocnemius (intermediate vulnerability), and tibialis anterior (vulnerable) muscles in mice to determine the factors underlying their selective vulnerability in sinal muscular atrophy.
