ABSTRACT: Differences in gene regulation between healthy glucocorticoid receptor N363S single nucleotide polymorphism carriers and noncarrier controls may underlie the emergence of metabolic syndrome, Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease associated with the N363S polymorphism.
