Molecular networking-based discovery of anti-inflammatory chromene dimers from Melicope pteleifolia.

With the aid of a feature-based molecular networking strategy, five undescribed C<sub>2</sub> and C<sub>1</sub> symmetric chromene dimers, namely, melptelchromenes A-E, were isolated from the leaves of Melicope pteleifolia. Four asymmetric dimers were found to be racemates and were resolved by chiral phase HPLC analyses. Project description:Project for the study of spatial and temporal alterations in organelle proteins during HCMV infection. Two datasets are included, one for label-free quantification and one for TMT quantification. Samples were collected at 5 time points of infection (24, 48, 72, 96, and 120 hours) and subject to organelle fractionation. One non-infected sample was included for the label-free analysis, and 5 non-infected samples (one per time point) were included for the TMT dataset. The nucleus and cytosolic fractions were removed by differential centrifugation, leaving a crude organelle fraction. The crude organelle fraction was further fractionated by density gradient ultracentrifugation into sicx fractions.

Project description:Lipid droplets from 6 week old Arabidopsis leaves were purified on sucrose gradient. The abundance of the proteins in the lipid droplet fraction was established by label free and compared to soluble, membrane and plastoglobule fractions, and total leaf extract in order to identify the proteins specifically enriched in lipid droplets. Three independent biological replicates, from three independent cultures were performed. For each biological replicates, three preparations of lipid droplets (and other fractions) within each of the three independent cultures were obtained.
