GNPS - Shifts in Zostera marina metabolites with heat stress exposure
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Zostera marina plants were exposed to ambient, +3 Celsius, or +6 Celsius temperatures for five weeks. Following exposure, root exudates and plant compartments were collected for metabolite extraction. This study aims to investigate metabolic shifts in Z. marina under heat stress and their implications for host physiology and associated microbiomes. Untargeted LC-MS/MS acquisition was performed in Positive mode on a Vanquish Flex UHPLC system coupled to an Orbitrap Exploris 240 (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Bremen, Germany). Chromatographic separation was performed on a Kinetex 1.7 um 100 A pore size C18 reversed phase UHPLC column 100 x 2.1 mm (Phenomenex, Torrance, CA).
INSTRUMENT(S): Orbitrap Exploris 240
