The proteome of mantle exosomes of purple and white mussel in Hyriopsis cumingii


ABSTRACT: The proteome was based on the sequencing analysis of the mantle exosomes of purple and white Hyriopsis cumingii, and a total of 4861 proteins were obtained. After comparative analysis, 758 differential proteins were obtained (396 up-regulated proteins and 362 down-regulated proteins)

Pearl color is closely related to the nacre color of shell in Hyriopsis cumingii, and pearl color has a huge impact on its price. The nacre is an important part of the shell, and studies have suggested that mantle exosomes participated in shell formation.
