Bacterial glycoproteins have been investigated as vaccine candidates as well as diagnostic biomarkers. However, they are poorly understood in <i>Mycobacterium bovis</i> strain bacille Calmette-Guérin (BCG), a non-pathogenic model of <i>Mycobacterium tuberculosis</i>.
