Identification of replication and transcription machinery for cross species infectious ranaviruses


ABSTRACT: Ranaviruses are promiscuous pathogens that can infect across species barriers in aquatic animals. Here, a complicated replication and transcription machinery were screened and uncovered from the two ranavirus infected lower vertebrate cells by isolation of proteins on nascent DNA, recombinant virus-based affinity, and Mass spectrometry.
