The process of coupled drought stress and nitrogen uptake in wheat


ABSTRACT: The analysis of differential proteins through a proteomic approach to target the major metabolic pathways and identify key regulatory factors can help to accelerate the resolution of the mechanisms of plant response to stress. In this study, two varieties with different drought tolerance, C6878 (drought tolerant, DT) and S4185 (drought sensitive, DS), were selected and both treated with PEG6000 along with different concentrations of nitrogen.
