ABSTRACT: Aurantiochytrium sp. R2 is a Docosahexaenic acid-producing marine protist isolated from mangrove habitats. A mutant R2A35 with higher Docosahexaenic acid yield was obtained by Atmospheric and Room Temperature Plasma mutagenesis. By comparing proteomes, we can analyze the Fatty acid synthesis pathways and reveal the reasons for the improvement.
