Glycosylation detection of carcinoembryonic antigen in human plasma


ABSTRACT: We develop a method with high sensitivity and reproducibility to comprehensively illustrated the glycosylation of plasma CEA based on trifunctional probe and multi-enzymatic approach. Site-specific glycoforms of plasma CEA differed in patients with different cancers and the progression of CRC.

Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) of human plasma is a biomarker of many cancer diseases, and its N-glycosylation accounts for 60% of molecular mass.
