TST project, namely Effect of TST/Rhodanese depletion on the brain cortex
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Thiosulfate SulfurTransferase (TST) or Rhodanese is a key enzyme involved in mitochondrial OXPHOS function through RSS H2S metabolism. In vivo model of TST knock-out in mice could induced major brain alterations including related to neurodegeneration. Our study aimed to characterize TST depletion effect on the brain cortex, through the reactive species interactome, the antioxidant defense, and mitochondria, including using global proteome.
